| The Jets acquired Bill Derlago midway through the 1985-1986 season and he spent parts of two seasons with the Jets before finishing his career the following year as a member of the Quebec Nordiques. The Jets initially pursued the former fourth-overall selection of the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft in the summer of 1978, but he elected to sign with the Vancouver Canucks instead. He topped the 30-goal plateau four times during his NHL career, but he played only a minimal role for the Jets. |
