Comments: I became a Jets fan following their 30 game winless streak, and followed them until they left the city. I just started rooting for them and fell in love with the team. They were SO fun to watch, and had some very exciting teams. I hope they are awarded a franchise again someday.

Comments: I have been looking for a web page just like this one for a while I am a huge Jets fan it was a sad day in hockey when the jets moved to phoenix. I have a nice collection of winnipeg jets stuff from a bobby hull action figure to a set of winnipeg dish and cup set and also hockey cards and old news papper articals from 1978 and 1979. GO JETS GO bring them back to winnipeg I miss them! loyal jets fan

Comments: As a former Calgarian and avid Flames fan, your site brought back some happy and not so happy memories. As a small boy, the Jets and the Oilers were the two teams that made me cry at playoff time.

Comments: Jet!...I thought the only lovely place was on the moon...Jet! $$$ You have lost your team, we have lost les Nordiques, they have lost their Whalers $$$ money talks! Hockey fans who were lucky enough to attend WHA games know they have seen the best hockey ever; offensive, creative and played with the heart, not with $$$

Comments: Still think about the Jets. Nearly lost my Pens as well. Reading about the white-outs reminded me of going to the play-offs against Calgary in '87. My roommate was from Calgary so he had me wear red with him. Me, him and his girlfriend, three specks of red in a sea of white. I did get lots of good natured ribbing in the beer lines at intermission. My last trip to the 'Peg was in '96. I wore white to that playoff game against Detroit. Many good times in that old arena. Many cold walks back to the car.

Comments: former Winnipegger, and full time Oilers hater. My enthusiasm for the NHL has diminished since the Coyotes came into existence...Bring back the JETS!

Comments: My family moved west in 1970's from Toronto around same time as Maple Leafs Harold Ballard era. Adopted the Jet's almost immediately as MY team and have many fond memories of trips to Winnipeg for Jets games. The Wpg Arena had tonnes of character, a great team and fans...despite the poor sight lines and -29c January weather. The Jets live on in our collective memories!!! Great website and thank you....
